Matthew Knowles has accepted a role in Boeing’s U.K. and Ireland sector as the company’s communication director. He will be responsible for developing communication strategies, partnerships with suppliers and customers as well as engaging key stakeholders.
His previous position was leading communication for the ADS organization, a U.K. aerospace and defense trader. Prior to that, he was a communication leader with the British Chamber of Commerce, where he was a recognized award winner from 2002-04.
“We are delighted to welcome Matthew to lead communications in this important area for the company,” said Sir Roger Bone, president of Boeing UK and Ireland. “He will work closely with Boeing Defense UK, Boeing Commercial Airplanes and the international teams to enhance the companies reputation and help grow our business here.”
Knowles also will be in charge of Boeing’s community outreach programs like Boeing’s Build a Plane challenge for schools and British Military Tournament.
Boeing employs over 1,000 workers in the UK.
