Boeing announced it will be a major player in the upcoming GEOINT Symposium, Oct. 16-19 in San Antonio.

The Boeing exhibit will introduce the company’s newest “Human Geography” technology, flexing its muscle in the arena of geospatial data management technologies for the Intelligence Community.

“The Boeing Human Geography solution provides community data in categories such as political ideology, ethnicity, cultural habits, language, education and health care — and how these have contributed to the intelligence picture,” said Dewey Houck, Intelligence Systems Group vice president. “It offers historical trends and patterns to help give the analyst a holistic understanding of nations and regions by broadening and deepening their analytic expertise.”

Boeing is also showcasing TAC, 3-D Ladar and SAR Agility in its booth.

  • TAC gives users immediate access to data relevant to their topic of interest by enabling real-time collaborative analysis through persistent streaming.
  • 3-D Ladar is an advanced mapping program using laser light technology to produce 3-D images of terrain.
  • SAR Agility stands for synthetic aperture radar. The image analysis tool provides real-time processing and user interaction.

The GEOINT Symposium is the preeminent event of the year for the defense, intelligence and homeland security communities. 2010’s GEOINT Symposium attracted 4,000 guests.
