CGI Appoints Ken Taylor to Lead Canadian Cybersecurity

CGI Group Inc. has appointed Ken Taylor Vice-President, Cybersecurity Canada.

Taylor has over 23 years of experience including 12 with Canada’s Department of National Defense.

“Cybersecurity is recognized as an extraordinarily difficult strategic challenge that requires a disciplined and systematic approach,” said Taylor. “Today’s cyber threats are constantly changing and becoming more complex.”

CGI also announced that John Proctor, an internationally recognized security and risk expert with 22 years of experience serving the British and Canadian forces, will join its cybersecurity practice.

In addition, CGI is expanding its existing IT Security Evaluation and Test Facility in Ottawa, Ontario.
