About 20 volunteer employees from DRS Technologies’ Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition Group in Melbourne, Fla., recently helped initiate the construction of a new home for Habitat for Humanity. The group has volunteered for multiple Habitat for Humanity projects over the years and participated in an “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” project in Cocoa, Fla.
“We feel privileged to be able to work with Habitat to help build a new home for this very deserving family,” says Terry Murphy, RSTA president . “All of us at RSTA are dedicated to serving as an integral part of the communities in which we work, and this project is particularly gratifying because it allows us to lend a hand in helping others build a new and brighter future.”
