MicroTech and CEO Tony Jimenez Recognized for Excellence

Tony Jimenez, MicroTech

October has been a memorable month for MicroTech.

CEO Tony Jimenez was named one of the 2011 top 100 most influential Hispanics in America by the Hispanic Business Magazine and the company was acknowledged as the 2011 GovStar “Technical Trailblazer” winner, an award given to the government contractor that has developed the most significant innovative technological product or breakthrough.

Jimenez founded the company in 2004 and has helped MicroTech become one of the fastest growing solutions provider in the country.  A prime contractor on more than 100 federal projects and 28 procurement vehicles, MicroTech offers access to more than 2,500 vendors and more than a million government technology products and services.

“This is a real honor to make such a prestigious list of notable Hispanics in America,” said Jimenez. “My business goals have always included helping others, including Hispanics, become successful entrepreneurs. America is truly the land of opportunity and I share my influence with the Hispanic community by mentoring and teaching others, and by setting a good example of how to overcome obstacles and achieve business success.”

This was Jimenez’s first appearance on the list. He’s previously received recognition within the U.S. Hispanic Advocacy Association as CEO of the year and executive of the year.

The company said Jimenez has been particularly active with its line of private cloud solutions, MicroKloud. The company said MicroKloud is an all-in-one package that includes the MicroPodd portable micro data centers, MicroStak private cloud solution, TrackIP VDI solution and MultiClass S3 secure switching solution.

“Our new line of MicroKloud private cloud computing and migration technology solutions make us well positioned to continue to best serve our customers and expand into new markets,” said Jimenez.
