Northrop Executive Thomas E. Romesser Selected for Aeronautics Roundtable

Northrop Grumman’s Thomas E. Romesser has been appointed to the National Research Council’s Aeronautics Research and Technology Roundtable. His appointment is a three-year term.

Romesser currently is the vice president of technology development for the advanced programs and technology division of Northrop Grumman’s aerospace systems sector and the sector’s chief technologist. He has more than 35 years experience in the aerospace field.

Romesser’s roundtable duties include contributing in aerospace discussions, carrying awareness of consequences to the public and serving on the Unmanned Systems task force, focusing on a wide range of topics including the operation of unmanned air vehicles in air space.

The roundtable’s approximately two dozen members are selected in recognition of their distinguished achievements in original aeronautical and engineering research.
