Sabre Names New Mid-Atlantic Senior Executive Director

Sabre Systems Inc. has named Hampton Dowling to serve as senior executive director for the company’s mid-Atlantic region.

In this capacity, Dowling will be responsible for managing networks and illicit trafficking programs, secure logistics and operations. His responsibilities include additional emphasis on integrated business and tactical solutions that address homeland security-related challenges of partner nations, critical private sector initiatives, and offices and agencies in the public sector.

Prior to joining Sabre, the 30-year industry-veteran was a managing partner of The HCB Group LLC, a professional advisory and services company. Dowling was also a director in companies such as L-3 Communications and DRS Technical Services and held senior program management positions with Lockheed Martin and SAIC.

Prior to his civilian career, Dowling was a surface warfare commander in the U.S. Navy.

“Very few rival his leadership and expertise in these critical areas, and we are excited and delighted to have him aboard as part of our Sabre team,” said Glen Ives, Sabre’s group vice president of the Mid-Atlantic region.
