SAP has announced the hiring of Michael Naimoli as vice president and head of the life sciences industry business unit. Naimoli’s responsibilities will include providing software solutions to life sciences organizations across the globe.
The executive’s last stop was with Microsoft, where he led the business development of the life sciences team. Naimoli is a 20-year veteran of the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries in product development, drug manufacturing and quality assurance. Naimoli will report to John Papandrea, senior vice president and global head of SAP’s health sciences division.
“With his deep experience within and across many aspects of the life sciences industry, Mike will be a tremendous asset to our customers,” said Papandrea. “I am particularly delighted with the depth of knowledge he brings to the table.”
