Verizon Wireless COO John Stratton to Deliver Address at mHealth Summit

John Stratton, Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless‘s John Stratton will be delivering a keynote address at the 2011 mHealth Summit, a conference that brings together leaders from across the world to encourage dialogue and advance collaboration in the use of wireless technology to improve health outcomes.

Stratton currently serves as the company’s chief operating officer and executive vice president. Verizon is sponsoring the mHealth Summit for the second consecutive year. The event is rapidly becoming one of the most important and largest mobile health meetings on the planet.

“We are pleased to have Verizon Wireless at the mHealth Summit, and happy they have chosen this event as the platform to drive their expansion into the mobile health space,” said Richard Scarfo, director of the mHealth Summit at the Foundation for the NIH. “Verizon Wireless places a strong focus on the customer and part of that initiative is to deliver outstanding service products.  For healthcare, this means improved quality of care, expanded access, and reduced costs.  These tenets align perfectly with the mission of the summit.”

Verizon says it is continually adapting its smart phones, tablets and its 4G LTE technology to better provide healthcare solutions for those in need.

The summit will be held Dec. 5-7 in Washington D.C. at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center. More than 300 industry leaders will be in attendance.
