Avaya has been recognized with two Technology Services Industry Association Fall 2011 STAR Awards for Excellence in Mission-Critical Software Support and Excellence in Hardware Remote Diagnostics, making it eight total STAR awards Avaya has received in the past three years.
The STAR award recognizes excellence in technology services, awarding companies who displace leadership, innovation and commitment to delivering top services and support.
This is the second consecutive year Avaya has been recognized for its Mission-Critical Software Support. The company points to its emergency recovery services, which provide a dedicated team of experts who work to restore essential functionality during solution-wide outages.
The Hardware Remote Diagnostics recognition was a result of Avaya’s remote monitoring and maintaining of client software. The company indicated that it resolves 99 percent of service alarms remotely.
“Recognition from TSIA reinforces our strong track record in client support,” said Mohamad Ali, senior vice president and president for Avaya’s client services business. “Providing emergency restoration and around-the-clock monitoring of essential systems for our clients is critical. Continual improvement of service is what the TSIA awards are all about, and as an award recipient, Avaya intends to continue to lead by example.”
