KBR Leadership Academy Wins Workforce Development Award

KBR has won the Construction Users Roundtable workforce development award for the company’s OnTrack Leadership Academy.

The academy is a four-tier progression program that identifies high-potential talent and puts them on a path of advancement through training, mentoring support and pay increases.

The CURT Award recognizes organizations who implement innovative and exemplary workforce development programs that not only encourage people to pursue careers in construction, but develop and retain them.

“We aim to recruit and promote high-potential employees into the program based on merit and provide them with a clear path to advancement, so that one generation’s success provides the motive and momentum to train, mentor and empower another,” said David Zimmerman, group president of KBR Services. “KBR’s OnTrack Leadership Academy is about developing construction leaders and fulfilling the current and future needs of our industry.”
