KBR Names New Minerals Business President

KBR has named a new president, Mark Read, to head its minerals business unit to be headquartered in Melbourne, Australia.

Read will be responsible for developing and driving the unit’s growth strategy, aiming to broaden KBR’s presence in the global minerals market.

“I am certain that Mark will successfully lead KBR’s new Minerals group as it ventures out as a standalone business unit,” said Mark Williams, group president, infrastructure, government and power.

Before joining KBR, Read spent 20 years at Sinclair Knight Merz and has over 30 years of experience in engineering services.
