ManTech Exec Recognized With Horizon Award

ManTech International Corporation executive was recently recognized by the Women in Defense Michigan Chapter with the 2011 Horizon Industry Award in Supply Chain Development.

Muge Cody, vice president of ground systems operations for the technical services group at ManTech, received the award earlier this month.

Cody was recognized for her efforts to improve supply chain management processes. The company reported she was responsible for leading the effort to shift support and supplies from Iraq to Afghanistan and the U.S. In addition, she worked with the government to improve supply chain efforts resulting in cost savings and avoidance for the government.

“As a leader Muge Cody instills an expectation for excellence,” said Louis Addeo, president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s technical services group, of Cody’s recognition. “Her people consistently demonstrate superior performance and exceptional dedication to the customer’s mission.”

In her current position, Cody is responsible for providing logistics and sustainment support for operations of the Southwest Asia-based U.S. Army TACOM-managed Mine-Resistant Ambush-Protected Family of Vehicles. She oversees logistics and maintenance operations in more than 10 regions. She has led the TACOM MRAP FOV logistics and sustainment programs for six years.
