McAfee Wins Customer Service Award, Finalist for Info Security Award

McAfee has won the Jive Awards’ “Engage Customers” category at the JiveWorld11 conference and the Star Awards’ “Continuous Support Improvement” award at the Technology Service Industry Association conference.

The Jive Award recognizes excellence in customer service and McAfee was recognized for its online community forums, which let customers communicate and receive support.

McAfee was selected for the TSIA STAR Awards for service levels and customer satisfaction over a three-year period. The awards recognize companies for leadership, innovation and commitment to results.

“These award wins are a testament of our commitment to and focus on our customers,” said Barry McPherson, McAfee executive vice president of worldwide support. “Our people are passionate about delivering world-class support. It is this dedication that has enabled our continuous operational improvements as well as our consistently increasing customer satisfaction scores.”

In addition, McAfee was named a finalist for SC Magazine‘s awards, receiving 11 nominations. The company was recognized in ten areas within the “Readers Trust” category.

“This acknowledgement by our peers and experts in information security is an honor and a testament to the efforts McAfee has put forth to combat new and sophisticated threats,” said Matt Fairbanks, senior vice president of product marketing at McAfee. “We relentlessly strive to improve global security and SC Magazine’s reader recognition underscores the strength and value of our solutions as some of the industry’s best.”
