Capgemini Health IT Exec Receives TechAmerica Leadership Award

Susan Morrison of Capgemini has received the TechAmerica Foundation’s “Outstanding Leadership in Analysis and Forecasting” award, the company announced Monday.

Morrison currently leads business development for Capgemini’s public sector health information technology practice in the U.S.

She received the award for her presentation of the group’s “Military Health System forecast,” which highlighted both the current state of the U.S. military healthcare market, in addition to obstacles and opportunities for delivering healthcare to the public sector throughout the next decade.

“Capgemini is at the forefront in providing government clients with quality and efficient IT solutions,” said Morrison. “I am honored to have received this award on behalf of Capgemini as we consider future challenges and opportunities in federal IT, and continue to be a trusted partner in military health solutions.”

The award was presented at the 47th annual Vision Conference in Springfield, Va.
