CH2M HILL Employee Wins Rising Star of Safety Award

Out of 150 nominees and 40 awardees under 40, CH2M HILL‘s Sean Kriloff, regional health and safety manager, was recently awarded the National Safety Council’s Rising Star of Safety Award.

Kriloff was recognized for his commitment to safety initaitives that produced measurable outcomes, according to the news release.

Nominated candidates underwent review based on their leadership, examples of saftey initiatives, engagement of peers and each nominees personal value of safety in the workplace.

“Sean has all of the tools that make up an outstanding employee: His technical knowledge, respect for people, staying current in our business and regulatory requirements, and in general just a tremendous team member, make it a true pleasure to supervise and work with Sean on a daily basis,” said Mark Zachary, CH2M HILL corporate safety director.

Kriloff has been a part of the company since 2006. Prior to joining CH2M Hill, he was responsible for enforcing Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards as part of Arizona Department of Occupational Safety and Health.

He earned both his master’s of science technology and bachelor’s degree in science from Arizona State University.
