Diana Gowen, CenturyLink

Diana L. Gowen currently serves as senior vice president and general manager of CenturyLink.

In this position Gowen is responsible for overseeing CenturyLink’s government customers, sales operations, proposals, contracts and procurement. Throughout Gowen’s tenure, she has racked up more than 30 years of experience as a senior executive in the communications industry.

Prior to joining CenturyLink in 2005, Gowen served as president of government solutions for Corvis and Broadwing Communications. As vice president of MCI Government Markets, she helped launch the company, and led sales and program efforts.

In addition, Gowen also worked as an executive at AT&T, focusing on sales, marketing and product management.

Gowen earned a bachelor’s degree in science and a master’s in business administration from the University of Maryland in College Park.

She is the recipient of two Fed 100 Awards from Federal Computer Week (FCW) in addition to a Government Computer News‘ (GCN) “Industry Executive of the Year Award.”
