KBR Adds CEO of Oil Well Firm to Board of Directors

KBR has elected Jack Moore, the chairman, president and CEO of oil well services firm Cameron International Corp. to KBR’s board of directors.

Moore will officially become a board member Jan. 1, 2012, according to a KBR announcement.

Cameron makes flow equipment products for the oil, gas and process industries. Cameron appointed Moore as president and CEO in April 2008 and elected him to chairman of the board in May of this year.

Moore joined Cameron’s drilling and production systems group in July 1999 as vice president and general manager for the Western Hemisphere. Three years later, he was named president of this group.

“Jack is an incredibly qualified executive whose leadership and international industry experience will make an immediate and positive impact to our Board,” said William Utt, chairman, president and CEO of KBR.

Moore is on boards of directors of the American Petroleum Institute, the National Ocean Industries Association and the Petroleum Equipment Suppliers Association.
