The MITRE Corporation has made Glassdoor.com‘s employees’ choice list of the 50 Best Places to Work, according to a company release. This is the fourth consecutive year the company made the list, this year taking the number four spot.

The firm was ranked based on eight workplace factors including work/life balance, career opportunities, communication, compensation and benefits, fairness and respect, employee morale, recognition and feedback, and senior leadership.

“We’re pleased our employees have rated us so highly on the Glassdoor survey,” said Alfred Grasso, MITRE president and CEO.”It affirms our commitment to making MITRE a great place to work, which in turn helps us to attract the most talented individuals in their fields so that we can help our government sponsors achieve their mission goals.”

The awards are solely based on employee input, who provide feedback on their work environment and senior management throughout the year via an anonymous 20-question survey. The 50 ranked companies are chosen from among nearly 65,000 companies rated by their employees on the Glassdoor website.
