Terremark Named Leader in Gartner Magic Quadrant Report

Terremark, a subsidiary of Verizon Communications Inc., has announced it was named a leader in Gartner, Inc.‘s Magic Quadrant for Public Cloud Infrastructure as a Service, 2011 report.

Founded in 1979, the purpose of the Gartner report is to provide companies with technology-related insight to make informed and educated decisions. The Magic Quadrant is recognized as one of the most influential market analysis, which evaluates cloud and hosting vendors.

According to Gartner, “Leaders (in the report) have distinguished themselves by offering an excellent service and having an ambitious future road map. They usually serve a broad range of use cases well, although they do not excel in all areas, and they are not necessarily the best providers for a specific need.”
