AT&T Promotes John Stankey to Chief Strategy Officer

AT&T has promoted John Stankey, previously president and CEO of business solutions, to group president and chief strategy officer.

AT&T said Stankey, a 27-year company veteran, will develop the company’s strategies for future growth, including areas of corporate development and capital allocation. Stankey will report to AT&T Chairman and CEO Randall Stephenson.

The company also appointed:

  • Ralph de la Vega as president and CEO of mobility
  • Andy Geisse as senior executive vice president for business and home solutions
  • John Donovan as senior executive vice president for technology and network operations
