Citizant Executives Nominated for GovTek ‘Women in Technology’ Award

Citizant executives Fiona Barshow and Adel Harris have been nominated for the 2011 GovTek Executive Technology Award in the “Women in Technology” category, Citizen announced Monday.

GovTek’s awards gala will take place Feb. 22 at the Newseum in Washington.

According to Citizant, Barshow is being recognized as a leader in the federal law enforcement sector. Harris is being recognized as a thought leader in practical information sharing solutions, enterprise data management and enterprise architecture best practices.

Barshow is vice president of business development at Citizant. Her responsibilities include strategic business focus and across the Justice Department and Homeland Security. Harris has spent seven years at Citizant and the company credits her with helping Citizant grow from a small to mid-size business through leadership in technical, management and business development roles.
