ECS Promotes George Wilson from EVP to President

George Wilson has been named president of Electronic Consulting Services, Inc., the company announced Friday.

Wilson first joined the company in February 2011 as executive vice president and chief strategy officer.

Roy Kapani, ECS’s owner, founder and CEO, said Wilson’s “experience, knowledge, and leadership will help drive ECS to the next level.”

The company reports that 2011 was a busy year as it acquired two companies and added new customers, employees and capabilities.

Wilson was a part of Stanley Inc.’s executive team prior to that company’s acquisition by CGI Group. He was on the board of directors and served as EVP for the company, according to the release.
