HP Wins Governor’s Association Award for Health IT Collaboration

HP Enterprise Services won the National Governors Association‘s public-private partnership award, HP announced Monday.

HP won the award for helping 13 states develop software for the medical assistance provider incentive repository.

States use the system to coordinate and administer payments for Medicaid providers to adopt electronic health records.

The system also is designed to check eligibility of applicants, issue incentives and track progress in implementing certified health information technology.

States participating in the system include Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wisconsin.
