Iron Mountain Names Former FBI Agent Jack Faer Chief Security Officer

Iron Mountain appointed former FBI Special Agent Jack Faer chief security officer, the company announced Tuesday.

Faer will lead the company’s global security team, which oversees corporate security and safety, fraud prevention, information security, crisis management and disaster recovery programs.

Faer’s team also oversees security interests of the company’s customers.

Prior to joining Iron Mountain, Faer previously served as a senior vice president for State Street Global Advisors, where he lead operational risk management and continuity planning.

He also served as chief security officer for Fidelity Investments and held other positions at Fidelity.

He began his career as an accountant for PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
