Michael Chertoff Joins Noblis Board of Trustees

Noblis elected former Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff to the company’s board of trustees, Noblis announced Monday.

Chertoff served as secretary from 2005 to 2009 and is co-founder and managing principal of the global security advisory firm Chertoff Group.

The Chertoff Group provides strategic security advice and assistance, risk management strategy, and business development solutions for commercial and government clients.

Chertoff is also senior counsel at law firm Covington & Burling and is a member of the firm’s white collar defense and investigations practice group.

Prior to joining DHS, Chertoff served as a federal judge on the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

From 2001 to 2003, he served as assistant attorney general in the Justice Department‘s criminal division.
