Kroll’s Alan Brill to Present at NATO Cyber Terror Course

Kroll Senior Managing Director Alan Brill will give two presentations between May 7 and 11 at a NATO cyber terrorism course in Turkey, the Altegrity subsidiary announced Monday.

His presentations are titled “Terror, Cybercrime and Cyber-risk: A Report from the Front Lines of the Battle” and “Future Trends in Cyber Terrorism.”

He will also facilitate class discussions and exercises for the cyber terrorism course.

He said the courses will give him an opportunity to see what other companies are doing to counter the kind of threats his company’s clients face.

NATO will host the 2012 Cyber Terrorism course at its Centre of Excellence-Defence Against Terrorism in Ankara, Turkey.

Course attendees will study growing cyber attack threats, cybersecurity risks, terrorists’ usage of the Internet and strategies for countering cyber terrorism.

The center provides anti-terrorism training and education and conducts experiments to test and validate terrorism-related NATO concepts.
