DynCorp C-21A, C-20 Teams Receive FAA’s Highest Corporate Award

DynCorp International has received the Federal Aviation Administration’s highest corporate-level award for supporting two Air Force programs, the company announced Wednesday.

This marks the fourth straight year the Falls Church, Va.-based  contractor has received the Diamond Award for its work with the C-21A contractor logistics support team.

The agency also recognized DynCorp’s C-20 team with a Diamond Award, marking that team’s first award.

Companies receive awards through the FAA’s aviation maintenance technician program for work dedicated to improving aircraft and flight safety.

Each mechanic also receives an Aviation Maintenance Technician award based on the number of training hours logged.

In mid-March, DynCorp secured a $100 million Air Force contract to support department personnel and contractors stationed in Egypt.
