Northrop Donates $50K to Fund STEM Initiatives; Sandra Evers-Manly Comments

Northrop Grumman Corp. announced Friday it awarded a $50 thousand grant to the Great Minds in science, technology, engineering, mathematics technology program.

The Falls Church, Va.-based firm said the award will fund two Viva Technology programs this fall coordinated by its Hispanic employee resource group, One Adelante.

Sandra Evers-Manly, president of the Northrop Grumman Foundation said the programs will offer an interactive experience to all students interested in engineering and science careers.

The events will be held at Parkland Magnet Middle School in Rockville, Md. and Will Rogers Middle School in Lawndale, Calif.
