ACS Vet Charles Church Joins Oracle As A Business Development Manager

Charles Church, formerly a vice president at Sevatec, has joined Oracle as business development manager for civilian agencies, GovCon Executive has learned.

He originally joined Sevatec in January 2010 as a vice president and program executive for the Department of Homeland Security’s Eagle II contract vehicle.

According to the company, he led the pursuit of prime awards on that vehicle and provided firm-wide expansion strategy support across the defense and other markets.

Between March 2008 and November 2009, he served as vice president of homeland security and defense for the federal solutions unit at ACS Inc., a Xerox company.

Prior to ACS, he served in the Department of Homeland Security as chief information officer for three directorates between October 2003 and February 2008.

Sevatec said he worked in the national protection and programs, information analysis and infrastructure protection and preparedness directorates.

Church joined the federal government in October 2001 as program manager for telecommunications services at the Treasury Department.
