NIH’s Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center awarded the Chief Information Officer–Solutions and Partners 3 vehicle to procure technology services for up to 10 years.
“Healthcare reform is a top national priority which results in a significant demand to employ IT to support rapidly changing industry needs,” said Marilyn Crouther, senior vice president and general manager of HP’s U.S. public sector.
The company founded its healthcare IT segment nearly 45 years ago, according to Crouther, who added that HP may go after work in all 10 CIO-SP3 categories.
HP and its team of small business partners will compete for task orders to perform work in federal IT architectures, health science and healthcare, biomedical research, software development and integration
Federal civilian and defense agencies will also use the vehicle to acquire services in data center consolidation, cloud computing, health IT, mobility and cybersecurity.
