Indus CEO Shiv Krishnan Comments On $20B NIH IT Contract

Indus Corp. has won a position on a potential $20 billion governmentwide contract for information technology services, awarded by a National Institute of Health office.

The company said it won its position as a leader of the Health Informatics and Information Technology Solutions Contractor Team Arrangement, with partners Armedia LLC and Digital Infuzion Inc.

Indus formed the HIITS CTA, together with DIFZ and Armedia to support NITAAC’s vision focusing on a fresh approach to health-related missions,” said Indus CEO Shiv Krishnan.

Under the 10-year contract, the team will compete for task orders to perform services for biomedical research, health sciences and healthcare, imaging, IT operations and maintenance, integration services and software development.

According to the company, agencies use the Chief Information Officer-Solutions and Partners 3 vehicle to order IT solutions and services and focus on accountability goals of the Federal Health Architecture.

Agencies also will invest in and implement interoperable health IT and provide IT services to support the Federal Enterprise Architecture and the Defense Department’s Enterprise Architecture, the company said.
