Xerox holds a prime position on a potential $20 billion National Institutes of Health contract for information technology and business process support services, the company announced Monday.
The company will compete to provide information technology services for biomedical research, imaging, software development, health sciences, integration services and information technology operations.
John Kavanaugh, group president for federal solutions, said in the release that the company has provided the government with healthcare services and technologies for 35 years in pharmacy benefit management, health information exchanges and Medicaid management information systems.
The company helps more than 25 federal agencies with their information technology and business process needs and processes more than 300 million documents per year for federal agencies.
