SAIC Receives NASA Contractor Performance Award

SAIC Inc. has won a NASA award for performance on contracts involving information technology and communications, the company announced Tuesday.

The company received the Marshall Space Flight Center’s Contractor Excellence Award last during a breakfast at the the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Ala.

In the large business service category, NASA recognized the company for its performance on an IT services contract, the multi-year Enterprise Applications Service Technologies contract and the agency’s Integrated Communications Services contract.

NASA evaluated the company based on technical performance, schedule and cost performance, leadership and quality, satisfaction, safety and innovation.

These awards mean the company SAIC is a finalist for the agency’s George M. Low Award for quality and performance in the aerospace industry.
