NJVC VP/GM Lynn DeCourcey Named Finalist in AFCEA Heroines in Technology Awards

Lynn DeCourcey, vice president and general manager of NJVC Cybersecurity, was named a finalist in the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association’s 12th Annual Heroines in Technology Awards.

With 20 years experience in the IT industry, DeCourcey has provided support to the Intelligence Community, Defense Department and finance and pharmaceutical firms through IT management across systems development lifecycle, with emphasis on information security.

DeCourcey holds a bachelor’s degree in Politics from Ithaca College. She also has a master’s degree in Information Management from Marymount University and a post-graduate certificate in Information Systems Security from George Washington University.

She has a certification in Information Systems Security from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium and has completed the National Security Agency’s INFOSEC Assessment Methodology training program.

DeCourcey is a member of AFCEA and the Network Centric Operations Industry Consortium.

The Annual Heroines in Technology Awards recognize and honor women in the field of technology for their exemplary contributions to the community, including government, nonprofit and commercial organizations.
