Jim LaJeunesse is vice president of finance for the land and armaments sector for BAE Systems Inc., where he oversees all activities in finance, accounting, program control, compliance, financial planning and analysis, pricing, estimating and business management.
He joined BAE in April 2009 as finance VP supporting the electronics, intelligence and support operating group.
Before joining BAE, LaJeunesse served as chief financial officer of Cryptek, a global communications and computing company with operations in the U.K., Canada and the U.S.
From 2006 to 2008, he was the VP of finance for Unisys’ federal business, where the company credits him with leading a turnaround and financial system implementation. He was a finalist for Northern Virginia Technology Council’s CFO of the Year award while at Unisys.
LaJeunesse is also a 25-year veteran of Lockheed Martin, where his last position was VP of finance and business management for tactical systems, within the maritime systems and sensors business. In that capacity, he was responsible for the finance, accounting, business management, pricing and contracts functions.
According to Lockheed, he also led his organization to make contributions in common financial system development, implementation and process re-engineering.
He previously held leadership positions for Lockheed in Orlando, Fla. and at corporate headquarters in Bethesda, Md. He started his career at BAE’s heritage Sanders business in Nashua, N.H.
LaJeunesse holds a bachelor’s degree in general management from New Hampshire College and an M.B.A. from Babson College.
