QinetiQ Names Scott Kaine Head of Cyber Intell Subsidiary

QinetiQ North America has appointed Scott Kaine president of its Cyveillance subsidiary, a Fairfax, Va.-based cyber intelligence provider for several Fortune 50 firms including Microsoft.

QNA said in a release Kaine will oversee direction, growth, customer satisfaction and business operations.

Kaine brings commercial sector experience along with a military background and knowledge in security software, said John Sutton, executive vice president and general manager of QNA’s mission and information solutions operating unit.

Before joining Cyveillance, Kaine served as a senior vice president at CA Inc., where he led the sales and marketing strategy of an identity and access management business.

He also spent several years as a principal at Booz Allen Hamilton and held positions at Siteworx, Symphony Consulting Group and VeriSign.

While in the Army, he served as an officer in the Military Intelligence Branch and graduated from West Point with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
