SAIC’s Glenn San Giacomo Comments on $23B Army EAGLE Program

Science Applications International Corp. holds a position on a potential $23 billion basic ordering agreement awarded by the U.S. Army for enterprise logistics support, the company announced Wednesday.

The five-year Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise contract, known as EAGLE, covers support services to the Army’s Sustainment Command.

This new program is intended to help the Army Material Command provide for all aspects of the branch’s supply, maintenance and transportation efforts, said Glenn San Giacomo, a senior vice president and business unit general manager.

SAIC will submit task order proposals for services including helping prepare forces for deployment, sustainment and redeployment in existing conflicts.

Work could also support readiness for incoming deployment and contingencies for conflicts.
