Thoma Bravo Completes $1.1B Deltek Buy; Kevin Parker Comments

Private equity firm Thoma Bravo has completed its $1.1 billion acquisition of enterprise software provider Deltek, Deltek announced Wednesday.

Deltek will remain headquartered in Herndon, Va. as a now-private company and continue with the same management team, led by President and CEO Kevin Parker.

Parker said in a release the company experienced growth over seven years under the ownership of New Mountain Capital and Deltek will continue to update its products through strategic and organic growth investments.

Deltek’s shareholders will receive $13 per share.

The company provides enterprise software and information products to 15,000 organizations to 2 million users in 80 countries, including government contractors and professional services firms.

Thoma Bravo currently manages a series of private equity funds representing almost $4 billion of equity commitments.
