Lisa Mascolo

Lisa Mascolo, a former managing director of Accenture‘s federal business, is leading a Reston, Va.-based records management firm in seeking new business, the Washington Post reports.

According to Marjorie Censer, Optimos has won new work with the National Labor Relations Board and is planning to grow its 120-employee staff.

Mascolo told Censer the company has signed up some of her former colleagues at Accenture including Scott Lyon, Optimos’ general counsel.

Mascolo joined Optimos in September 2011 after a 30-year career at Accenture, where she also served as U.S. country managing director and as group chief executive of the global health and public service operating group.

She also previously led Accenture’s U.S. public sector outsourcing work, where she helped the company’s strategy to increase its outsourcing market share in state and local markets.
