GDIT’s Zannie Smith on $750M Navy C4ISR Engineering IDIQ

General Dynamics holds a position on a potential $750 million U.S. Navy contract for engineering and design work on the branch’s C4ISR networks and systems (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance).

The company said its information technology unit will also develop, install, test and maintain communication networks and systems for three U.S. combatant commands under the five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

Zannie Smith, senior vice president of GDIT’s national and homeland security division, said in a release the company will work with the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, which runs 70 missions worldwide.

The company will develop the networks for U.S. European Command, U.S. Central Command and U.S. Special Operations Command.

Other work will include program management, technical support and logistics services like equipment fulfillment and tracking.
