Dennis Stolkey Named TechAmerica Chair

Trade association TechAmerica has named Dennis Stolkey, senior vice president and general manager of the Americas for HP Enterprise Services, chairman of the association’s board of directors.

TechAmerica said in a release he succeeds Peter Boni, CEO Emeritus of Safeguard Scientifics, who will remain on the board.

“Dennis has been a committed member of TechAmerica and the board for a number of years,” said Shawn Osborne, TechAmerica’s president and CEO. “He has been an active partner in crafting the path forward for TechAmerica and we foresee even more growth under his leadership.”

Stolkey has served HP in his current role since Nov. 1 and previously led HP’s federal government services business as SVP of the U.S. public sector for four years.

He is a 26-year veteran of HP Enterprise Services and its predecessor firm EDS, as well as a 20-year veteran of AT&T and Michigan Bell.
