Boeing SVP Michael Cave Joins Harley-Davidson Board; Keith Wandell Comments

Harley-Davidson Inc. announced Michael Cave has joined the company’s board of directors,  effective December 4, according to a company statement.

In addition to being a senior vice president at Boeing, Cave is also Boeing Capital Corp‘s president.

The 30-year Boeing vet has served in numerous roles including senior vice president of business development and strategy, senior vice president and CFO of Boeing commercial airplanes, and finance vice president of Boeing information, space & defense systems.

Keith Wandell, Harley-Davidson chairman, president, and CEO, said Cave specializes in finance, operations, strategic planning and business development.

He added that those skills will be utilized in Harley Davidson’s worldwide expansion.

Cave, the board’s 13th member, will serve his term until the company’s 2013 annual meeting of shareholders.
