CACI, Aurora Foundation Launching Vet Internship Program; Denyse Gordon Comments

CACI International and the Aurora Foundation have launched a new internship program for veterans who are currently studying, where the foundation will fund positions for veterans currently in college.

The company said the goal of the program is to help veterans gain direct and relevant industry experience for transitioning into the civilian workforce after graduating from college.

Denyse Gordon, CACI’s senior manager for veteran support and development, said the foundation’s mission is aligned with the company’s goal to hire and assimilate veterans into the company.

Some veterans now employed at CACI through the internship program include David Campbell of the Marine Corps, who works at the program for deploying talent and creating careers, and Chris Weston of the Army, who is a member of the veteran support and development team.
