Louis Gallois, a former chief executive at EADS, has been named France’s lead representative on the supervisory board at French automaker PSA Peugeot Citroen, Bloomberg reports.
Mathieu Rosemain writes Gallois led the aerospace and defense giant between 2007 and 2012 as sole CEO and started as co-CEO in mid-2006.
He will officially take his seat will take his seat on the board following ratification at an April 24 shareholders meeting, Rosemain writes.
According to Reuters, the appointment comes two months after Peugeot agreed to name an official French representative to the board in return for a bailout of its finance division.
