Malcom Wyman

Malcolm Wyman has been appointed non-executive director of Serco Group, effective Jan. 1, 2013, according to an iStockAnalyst article.

Wyman will succeed David Richardson as audit committee chairman when Richardson retires around the time of Serco’s 2013 annual general meeting, the article said.

“I am delighted to have Malcolm joining our Board and providing succession as chairman of our Audit Committee,” said Serco chairman Alastair Lyons. “His significant financial and international business experience will enable him to make a strong contribution to the work of both.”

Wyman is a chartered accountant and a non-executive director of Imperial Tobacco plc in the UK and a non-executive director of Tsogo Sun Holdings Ltd.

He also serves as senior independent director and audit committee chairman of Nedbank Group Ltd. in South Africa.

Previously, he was executive director and chief financial officer of SABMiller plc before retiring in July 2011.
