According to a Ball Aerospace statement, Hardaway and Domber will be inducted together with 175 other new associate fellows from around the globe during the 51st AIAA sciences meeting on January 7, to be held in Dallas, TX.
Hardaway is a staff consultant for mission systems at Ball and is a member of the AIAA structures technical committee, the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc. and the University of Colorado’s aerospace sciences external advisory board department.
Domber is a senior engineer working in payload systems and serves as the chair for AIAA’s structures technical committee. She also serves NASA’s engineering and safety center structures technical discipline team.
A person is selected to be an associate fellow if they are a senior member of the AIAA with at least 12 years of professional experience and must be recommended by at least three current associate fellows.
Out of the AIAA’s 35,000-plus members, only 2% are elected as associate fellows every year.
