Digital Management Inc. has attained a level three maturity appraisal from a Carnegie Mellon-run institute, adding to the level three rating it already has and becoming one of only 15 U.S. companies to have achieved that rating.
The company said less than half of those companies also receive an appraisal from the CMMI Institute.
DMI said it added the CMMI-SVC v1.3 to its existing appraisal for development.
“We’re grateful to the CMMI Institute for providing guidance to companies looking to improve the quality of their services, and for establishing benchmarks that clients can use to gauge vendors’ performance,” said Sunny Bajaj, DMI’s president and CEO. “Earning CMMI Maturity Level 3 certification for both development, and now services is a tremendous achievement which just a few companies in the world have attained.”
The company said its enterprise mobility management services unit is relevant to this evaluation from the CMMI Institute.
DMI works with federal agencies to help them manage mobile infrastructures, devices, applications and data.
The CMMI Institute developed the standards to evaluate work management, process management, service establishment, service delivery and support and supporting processes.
