Gartner Puts Oracle In Enterprise Governance ‘Leaders Quadrant’

OracleLogoGCEMarket research firm Gartner has selected Oracle as one of the top vendors of enterprise governance, risk and compliance platforms for 2012 in its magic quadrant report.

According to Oracle, Gartner defines GRC management as automating how a company manages, measures, remediates and reports controls and risks against objectives.

Gartner says enterprises want more automated controls such as reporting from continuous controls monitoring of enterprise resource planning system.

Within information technology infrastructure, Gartner says enterprises also want to automate how to integrate controls into the platform.

Oracle’s product strategy integrates enterprise risk management with continuous controls monitoring with pre-built integrations to the Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle’s PeopleSoft and Oracle Identity Management, said Chris Leone, Oracle senior vice president for application development.
