Lockheed to Hold Navy Program Media Briefing

LockheedLogoLockheed Martin has scheduled a series of media briefings for Jan. 15 in Arlington, Va. to update status of Navy programs such as the Littoral Combat Ship and Aegis air and missile defense systems.

The company said Michelle Evans, vice president of business development for mission systems and training, will lead the briefing at the Surface Navy Association’s symposium.

Evans will discuss the new mission systems and training business and its offerings in aviation systems, emerging markets, littoral warfare, naval combat systems, radars, situational awareness, training and unmanned system.

Joe North, vice president of littoral ship systems, will update attendees on littoral warfare and the LCS program.

Doug Laurendeau, a director of business development, and Rod Skotty, a senior manager of business development, will update the status of the MH-60 helicopter.

Nick Bucci, director of ballistic missile defense programs, and Jim Sheridan, director of Navy Aegis programs, will discuss the Navy’s surface combatant strategy for air and missile defense.
